Sir Paul Gets Back to Liverpool
Paul McCartney will return to Liverpool this summer to play a
huge concert in front of his home town fans. Paul doesn't want to tour the UK without performing in Liverpool, and
he is planning a spectacular event.
Paul says: "I can't do a world tour without bringing it home."
The venue for the concert will be Kings Dock, which was the venue for his ast big show in Liverpool in 1990.
His three hour show will include 22 Beatle songs together with favourites from his
Wings and solo periods.
Of course, he has returned to perform here twice
since then; In 1999 when he performed his historic gig at The Cavern and last year when he took part in the
"Concert for George" at the Liverpool Empire. On both occasions receiving massive media attention.
