We the organisers. welcome you to the only place where a Beatle (convention could be held.
LIVERPOOL Furthermore, our convent ion is being held in the majestic setting of the Adelphi Hotel, a place that the Fab our often had the pleasure of staying during the 60’s.
Usually at this stage, the organisers make a long list of people to whom they gratefully acknowledge for their assistance. Our list of thanks is, thankfully, brief: namely the ‘other’ Ron Jones of Merseyside Tourism and his extremely helpful and well—informed stall. Ta! girls. In addition. Transworld Festival Gardens. Liverpool — now the proud owners of the Beatle City Museum. Seel Street and the Magical Mystery Tour Bus, for their in much appreciated support. Last but not least we would like to thank all our parents, without whom none of us would he here!
‘Twas at the turn of the year that Ron Jones contacted Ron Jones and Dave Jones, and asked them if they  would like to organise this year’s convention. They said ‘Yes’ and quickly got the name of a good psychiatrist — only joking! Our thanks, seriously, do go to Ron Jones For his encouragement. confidence and specific guidance. You’re a gent. You set some standard last year!
Please folks, as many as possible of you, do enter the Beatle Brain Quiz, as all proceeds go to the Band Aid Trust. We have a new accent this year — Live Music — and have called upon the services of 9 live bands For the weekend’s entertainment. Our evenings entertainment will he almost all live music — ranging from the latest sounds coming from young bands to Merseybeat Veterans who have been rocking the foundations of clubs here and abroad since the late 1950’s. We’re sure they’ll combine to delight you, all conspiring to inject that unique Mersey ‘magic’.
