We
are a five piece comprising female (strident) vocal, fiddle,
electric and acoustic guitars, electric and acoustic bass and
drums. We draw down prog and acid rock influences,
classical, blues and folk to produce a rootsy rock sound
reminiscent of bands of the early 70's. We perform radically
re-arranged (deranged?) traditional songs plus our own material.
AHAB
are a roots, rock 'n' fiddle band - we are based in the South
Lakes, Cumbria. We have just opened Solfest Festival, August
'05, sharing the programme with the likes of The Undertones
and The Saw Doctors.
