Biography |
Once consisting solely
of Joe and other part time contributors, fallaroundhere settled on a
permanent line up in early 2005, and have since been playing live
extensively, gaining an ever increasing following along the
way.
Citing musical influences as diverse as Indie, Metal, Classical and
Bubblegum Pop it's difficult to describe the band's sound, but by
combining elements of atmospheric soundscapes with traditional song
writing they hope to create music you can sing along to, and at the
same time feel in the pit of your stomach.
The band's debut release: The 136 Miles E.P. was warmly received;
being described in some quarters as truly exceptional (Leeds Music
Scene). Not content to rest on their laurels, the band continued to
forge ahead, writing a host of new material, and with the addition
of violinist Helen Screen to the live line up, the sound of the band
continues to develop.
Having played to to ever increasing audiences across the North of
England, the band
continues to go from strength to strength. Higher profile gigs have
been booked and a new
E.P. release, which will precede a full length album, to
be released on the band's own label, are planned for early 2006.
